Uchiee / Takahiro Uchiyama

Career / Takahiro Uchiyama began his professional career as a support member of the guitarist of Young Punch, which started a fire of Japanese indie punk rock movement in the 1990. At the same time, Takahiro started his own band, Green Mind. They released several albums from UK Project, which is a well-known indie record label in Tokyo. The band caused a buzz in the scene soon later. In 2004, he regrettably broke the band to take the next step forward in his music career. Since 2005, as freelance music creator, he has worked on a wide diversity of music projects from commercial, film, and producing artists and so on. His musical taste and its perspective are based on the standpoint of global alternative music scenes, such as indie rock, industrial and electronica, to name a few.

Hiromat / Hirotaka Matsuoka

Career / Hirotaka Matsuoka started his composer’s career as assistant of J-pop composer while in college. After graduating college, he moved to the global focal point of the music industry, Los Angeles. Hiro went on to study music theory, film scoring and recording engineering at UCLA Extension. In 2003, he was hired as a full-time resident composer at HUM (www.humit.com), the world-renowned commercial music house. He successfully worked on projects for major brands such as McDonald’s, Bud Light, Land Rover, to name a few. Since 2009, moving back to Tokyo, he has worked as freelance composer/producer and created many projects for major brands as well as he did in the U.S.. He contributed his tracks to Canne Lions entries. Each project won a bronze and silver lion for Direct Lions and Mobile Lions in 2011 and 2012 for each. Hiro’s sense of creativity towards music has always been unique and cutting-edge. He approaches every project with a fresh creative perspective with a big sound scape.

Yone / Naoyuki Yoneda

Career / Naoyuki Yoneda is a talented composer, music director and keyboardist. While still in high school, he started a self-study of jazz theory. His passion for music never ended. After graduating college, he went to study music in London. In 1999, his demo tracks were admired by the legendary musician, Masanori Sasaji. And then, Naoyuki studied under him. As a music producer/keyboardist, his performance style widely covers of jazz, rock, country, folk, ethnic, opera, pop idol, EDM, R&B to enka (traditional Japanese pop music). He brings such his musical ability into play. He has produced many of the tracks and stage shows with widely various artists as a supporting member, an arranger, music director. Producing music for pictures, his forte is creating a stylish sound scape based on jazz, Latin, minimal music. Naoyuki has performed with many of the legendary Japanese musicians. His production style is borderless as like his stage performance.
